Don't fear failure!
Weekly I have girls admit they are afraid to fail. I came across a Lou Brock quote the other day and thought it was a perfect response to that fear.
“Show me a guy who’s afraid to look bad, and I’ll show you a guy you can beat every time.” – Lou Brock
Failure is inevitable in this game. If you cannot accept that you will likely fail more than you will succeed then I suggest you take up another sport. Blocking out fear in your mind is an athlete's biggest challenge, but the ones that do are the ones who are the most successful.
